➤Keep in mind - 5, 2, 1 stand for Common, Start and Run. Proceed as follows:
●"5" Common - Firmly connect the Black wire to terminal T1 of your contactor. Moreover, ensure that the Common “C” Terminal from your compressor is also connected to T1. A black wire should be stemming from this same "C" connector on the compressor itself.
●"2" Start - Securely attach the Striped wire to the "HERM" marked Start winding side of your run capacitor. To verify the Start winding side of the run capacitor, trace back to where it originates from - typically following a yellow/orange/blue wire from a compressor “S” terminal. This will lead you directly to that section on your capacitor.
●"1" Run- Securely connect the Red wire to both T2 of the contactor and to the Run winding side of the compressor, which is additionally linked to one terminal on a run capacitor (often labeled with either "C" or "="). In many cases, the compressor's R terminal holds a red wire indicating its Run winding. This same Red wire for your 521 start kit should then be connected to either the "C" or "=" terminal on the run capacitor but can also be linked up at T2 of your contactor.
