Description:
The GL5528 is a photoresistor or light-dependent resistor (LDR) or photocell which is a light-controlled variable resistor. The resistance of a photoresistor decreases with increasing incident light intensity; in other words, it exhibits photoconductivity. A photoresistor can be applied in light-sensitive detector circuits, and light and dark activated switching circuits.
Photoresistor is a resistor which made of semi-conductor material, and the conductance changes with luminance variation.The photoresistor can be manufactured with different figures and illuminated area based on this characteristic(lux levels).
