The StewMac Micro-Mesh Touch Up Stick 4-Pack is designed for detailed finish repair, polishing, and scratch removal on guitars and other stringed instruments. Each stick combines three Micro-Mesh abrasive grits on a cushioned core, providing a convenient solution for refining and restoring glossy surfaces.
Unlike conventional finishing papers, Micro-Mesh uses microscopic abrasive crystals bonded to a resilient cloth-backed latex surface. These cushioned abrasives generate less heat and friction, resist loading, and offer extended service life for consistent polishing performance.
Each Touch Up Stick includes:
Black side: 2400 grit
White side: 4000 grit
Grey side: 12000 grit
The flexible padded design gently conforms to curves, edges, and uneven surfaces, making it ideal for repairing scratches, blending overspray, and refining finish touch-ups. Use with soapy water to achieve a scratch-free mirror shine on finishes, pickguards, and other high-gloss surfaces.
