DC-side connection switch
When the switch is connected between the rectifier and brake magnet the response delay time is short the magnetic field energy is absorbed by the rectifier. Peak voltage generated when opening and closing the switch has no effect on the rectifier.
In the DC side of the rectifier is connected switch that allows the maximum switching frequency and capacity of relevant magnet to achieve higher switching frequency the brake or rectifier+ -DC terminals in parallel with a rheostat.
