Air3's patented monocoque manifold houses the blower, batteries, and electronics. This arrangement eliminates plumbing, reduces weight, and yields the best balance in the industry. This makes Air3 comfortable to wear for the 8 hrs of runtime provided by the lithium ion battery. If you need to go overtime, an external power source may be plugged into the USB-c port to charge while running for unlimited use. Air3 comes assembled, ready for use out of the box. The components below are included in Air3, and may also be purchased as spare parts. Filters: 10X the capacity of typical filters. When they reach end of life, the low flow alarm will continuously beep and the light blinks orange. Filters also feature built in spark arrestors and outlet filters to regulate exhaust air. Replacement Filters install in seconds without tools. Keeping a spare set on hand is recommended. Visor: Polycarbonate visor is ANSI Z87+ high impact rated. Excellent optics and ultra-wide field of view. Material is tough, but scratch's easily. Recommended to store respirator flat with visor up, or use wall mount (part of Accessories Kit sold separately) to protect from damage. Replacements install in minutes without tools. Tear Off: A tear off film is included with Air3 to protect the visor. It's installed over the visor with three adhesive dots. Additional packs of 10 are sold separately. Shroud: Impermeable fabric that includes an adjustable elastic drawstring around the neck. Avoid grasping the shroud to put respirator on, as the weight of the base can cause detachment. Instead, hold respirator by the base frame. Easy to remove without tools and machine washable. Headgear: The ratcheting headgear is one size fits all and padded for all day comfort. Replacement headgear installs in minutes with a Phillips screwdriver. Fairing: This component covers the Headgear and reduces blower noise an additional 6 dB. It installs in minutes with a Phillips screwdriver. Charger Kit: An AC charge block, USB-c cable, and three USB-c port plugs are included in the Air3 box, along with a User Manual and NIOSH Approval Label.
