Anti Static Mat - ESD Table Mat - Soldering, Electronic (Cellphone, Computer) Repair, PC Building - with Wrist Strap, and Grounding Kit - Green (2' x 4' (24" x 48"))
[ What is ESD? ] Static, formally referred to as electrostatic charge, arises from excess of electrons on one surface and a deficiency on the other. The imbalance of electrons thus causes an electrical field that is capable of influencing other objects at a distance. The charge will remain in place unless it has a path through which it can flow.
[ What is ESD-Safe? ] Static dissipative materials are able to conduct electricity, but do so very slowly. Any built-up static charges dissipate without sudden discharge that can harm the internal structure of silicon circuits.
[ Protection against ESD ] is required during production, repair, assembly, storage, and shipping stages of sensitive electronic components. ESD can damage or cause defects in electronic products, electronic components. Damage from ESD during cellphone and computer repairing is very common.
[Specifications ] Our ESD anti static table mat is made of virgin natural rubber. The ESD mat is 0.08” thick, and it has a dissipative top layer and conductive bottom layer. Resistively of surface layer is 10 7~10 9 ohms. Resistivity of bottom layer is 10 3~10 5 ohms. Time for static dissipation is <0.5s. It meets or exceeds the ANSI ESD-S20.20 and ANSI/ESD S-6.1 requirements. It also has a heat resistance of 600oF.
[ Usage ] A grounding cable must properly ground your antistatic mat. Our work bench mat can be used for soldering and other high temperature applications. This anti static mat can withstand a solder iron for 10 sec no smell, no melt.
Comes with 10mm snaps installed, a wrist strap, and dual-common-point grounding cable.
