【How to Use】
Step 1: Prepare the Surface - Ensure the surface is clean, dry, oil, grease, and loose debris.
Step 2: Cut the Nozzle - Cut the precision nozzle at a 45° angle according to the size of the gap you need to seal. The larger the gap, the wider the nozzle opening should be (note: do not cut too large to avoid over-dispensing).
Step 3: Dispense the Sealant - Load the sealant into a caulking gun (if applicable). Hold the gun at a 45° angle to the surface, and squeeze the trigger evenly to dispense the sealant along the gap. Move the gun smoothly to ensure the sealant fills the gap completely without gaps or air bubbles.
Step 4: Smooth the Sealant - Immediately use the included scraper to smooth the surface of the sealant, ensuring it adheres tightly to both sides of the gap and forms a neat, even finish. Wipe off any excess sealant with a clean cloth before it dries.
Step 5: Allow Curing - Let the sealant cure naturally for 7–14 days (full curing time). Avoid touching, moving, or exposing the sealed area to water or extreme temperatures during the curing period. Do not paint the sealant until it is fully cured.
【Precautions】
1.Do not use the sealant in areas with continuous water immersion (it is only suitable for above-waterline marine applications).
2. Store the unused sealant in a cool, dry place, tightly sealed. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures, which may cause the sealant to deteriorate.
3.The sealant is not suitable for structural bonding; it is intended for sealing gaps and joints only.
4. Do not mix this butyl sealant with other types of sealants, as this may reduce its performance.
