With all working parts constructed of non-corrosive metals for long life, this MEPCO steam trap is designed to efficiently drain water and vent air from a radiator or heating element, and to prevent steam from entering the return piping. Model features sensitive thermostatic action and the innovative design of a floating valve and rounded seat helps prevent corrosive elements and dirt usually found in heating system piping from seriously affecting trap operation. Model resists clogging since the large valve opening allows easy passage of water and dirt to help expel foreign matter.
