PRESSURIZED OPERATION: Once installed, the back pressure from the water line will activate the check valve on the inside of the fitting preventing water from flowing backwards.
NOTE: These are highly compressed check valves and will function once installed on a pressurized water line. The beck-pressure force is such it is very difficult to blow air through them. This demonstrates the valves ability to maintain solid back flow resistance and provides protection for your water lines. If you can blow air through any check valve, the activation spring is not of good quality.
