Installation Instructions:
1. The temperature and pressure safety valve should be installed at the top or side of the water heater, with the temperature sensing element submerged in the water within 6 inches (152mm) from the top of the container.
2. The discharge pipe of the temperature and pressure safety valve must be installed below the valve, and its end must be more than 6 inches (152mm) away from the floor drain to facilitate clear observation of the discharged water.

Maintenance and Care of the Temperature and Pressure Safety Valve:
1. Once installed, it is mandatory for the water heater user to manually lift the safety valve handle at least once a year to ensure that the water passage of the safety valve is clear.
2. Certain naturally occurring mineral substances may adhere to the valve, causing it to malfunction in manual operations.
3. Before lifting the handle, check the discharge pipe connected to the safety valve to ensure that the hot water discharged from the valve can drain properly to an appropriate place.
4. Otherwise, it may cause personal injury. If no water flows out, it implies that the safety valve is ineffective. At this point, immediately turn off the water heater and call a plumber to address the issue.
