New 12V PMDD (Permanent Magnet Direct Drive) starter for Mercury Marine outboard engines. 9-tooth drive gear, CCW rotation. 4.11-inch field case. Dual 5/16-18 threaded plus 12-24 threaded mounting holes. Direct replacement for 1965-1983 Mercury 35HP, 40HP, and 50HP 2-stroke outboard motors.
