If you use the same polishing buffing wheel for polishing different material workpiece, rake the polishing buffing wheel thoroughly and remove the previous polishing compound before changing from one polishing compound to another. Applying the buffing compound on the buffing wheels 1-2 second each time, and apply more times during the polishing process. Always rake your buffing wheels.
