- Usage Instructions: First, measure the spoke diameter using the included gauge (or a caliper). Then, firmly grip the tension meter and clamp it onto the spoke (with the two fixed contact points on one side of the spoke and the movable measuring head on the opposite side). Release the handle and allow the pointer to come to rest on the indicator. Read the pointer value and refer to the included conversion chart to translate the scale reading into an actual tension value. If the measured tension does not meet requirements, use a spoke wrench to make adjustments until all spokes reach the specified tension value.
