Description

Buna-N 70A durometer rubber offers excellent resistance to oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, and hydrocarbon solvents. It also provides good resistance to water, mild acids, and alkali substances. With dependable heat, oxidation, and abrasion resistance, this material performs well in demanding environments.
Material: Buna-N (Nitrile) Rubber
Durometer: 70A (Medium Firmness)
Diameter: .070 Inch (1.78mm) Round Solid Cord
Length: 10 Feet
Color: Black
Excellent Oil & Fuel Resistance
Good Heat and Abrasion Resistance

How to Make Custom O-Rings:
Measure the required inside diameter (ID) of your O-ring.
Calculate the total cord length needed: multiply the desired inside diameter by 3.1416 (π).
Cut the rubber cord squarely to the calculated length using a sharp blade.
Apply a small amount of rubber adhesive (cyanoacrylate or rubber bonding adhesive) to one cut end.
Press both ends together carefully, aligning them evenly to create a smooth joint.
Allow adhesive to fully cure according to manufacturer instructions before use.

Ideal for automotive, hydraulic, plumbing, marine, and industrial sealing applications requiring durable and reliable rubber material.
