Special Features

  • PRECUT FOR 4" OFFSET HINGES — Designed for 4-inch door hinges with staggered (offset) screw hole patterns. The precut slots align directly with offset hinge holes for a secure fit. Not for standard even-spaced hinges — see our standard version instead.
  • RIGID PC — WON'T COMPRESS LIKE PVC — Made from polycarbonate (PC), these shims are significantly harder and more stable than soft PVC shims that deform under pressure. PC also won't rust like metal shims, and can be lightly trimmed with scissors if your hinge needs a slight adjustment.
  • EASY DIY — NO DOOR REMOVAL NEEDED — Fix your door in under 5 minutes: 1) Loosen the hinge screws, 2) Slide the shim between hinge and door frame, 3) Retighten and check the fit. No special tools, no door removal, no call to a handyman.
  • 14 SHIMS — REPAIR 2-3 DOORS — Includes 14 identical offset-pattern shims that can be stacked for different gap sizes. Enough for 2-3 interior doors, with extras for future fixes.
