Due to the natural characteristics of turquoise, variations in color, shade, and matrix are normal and expected and can be dramatic from piece to piece. Our turquoise has been stabilized, treated, and color-enhanced to improve durability and highlight its natural beauty.

SilverBronzé: A nickel-free alloy offering the classic silver look. Solid, not plated — it won't peel or flake.
GoldBrass: A nickel-free alloy offering the warm look of gold. Solid, not plated — it won't peel or flake.
Note: Similar to sterling silver, SilverBronzé and GoldBrass will tarnish over time as they react with air, moisture, skin acids, and everyday wear. This is a natural characteristic of these metals, not a defect. The good news is that all three metals (Sterling Silver, GoldBrass, and SilverBronzé) can be easily maintained/cleaned with a standard jeweler's polishing cloth. Available on Amazon, these cloths (or gloves) are chemically-treated and quickly bring back that beautiful shine.
Due to natural body chemistry and pH levels, some people may notice a light, harmless skin mark after wearing for a prolonged time. This is simply a reaction between the metal and skin oils, and it washes off easily with soap and water.
