Installation
1.Disconnect the battery and remove the trunk interior trim panels.
2.Locate the trunk latch assembly (usually near trunk lid's edge) and disconnect electrical connector.
3.Position the new actuator in place, reconnect the linkage/rod, then restore all the electrical connection.
4.Reconnect the car battery and test the trunk latch using the key fob, interior button, or manual release to ensure proper operation, reattach the trim panel if liftgate door latch actuator works well.
