Ballast Resistor1 Ohm
Use with:Stock OEM Coil or HP Coil 555-40105Ignition Control Units 555-40800 & 555-40805Mopar Orange 312-P4120505, Chrome 312-P4120534, and Gold 312-P4120600 Ignition Control Units 1.0 Ohm Ballast Resistor is recommended for most applications on street driven & high performance general purpose applications. This ballast resistor is recommended with most Mopar OEM (oil filled) or OEM-Spec coils. This ballast resistor is also recommended for use with HP Coil 555-40105. Note: Ballast Resistors with less than 0.5 Ohm are only recommended for racing applications that run high RPM only & are not recommended for vehicles that idle for extended periods of time (i.e. 15-20 minutes) since this will overheat the ignition coil due to the longer dwell time at idle.
