Vacuum Pressure Control System converts your 4L60E transmission from electronic pressure control to a reliable vacuum-modulated system.

This kit replaces the factory EPC solenoid with a vacuum modulator that provides a more aggressive and tunable line pressure boost curve based on engine vacuum. It is perfect for high-performance builds, heavy-duty applications, and engine or transmission transplants where PCM reprogramming for line pressure may not be possible.

The 46-MOD kit helps resolve common low or inconsistent line pressure issues that can lead to slipping, overheating, and premature wear. It also increases accumulator pressure for stronger shifts while maintaining full TCM control of gear changes.

Kit includes everything needed for installation with the pan off: vacuum modulator, pin, valve, bushing, yellow pressure regulator spring, brass case fitting, vacuum hose, zip ties, and EPC resistor to prevent trouble codes. Vacuum line hardware to the intake manifold is not included.

Note: For supercharged or turbocharged engines, a vacuum bypass kit is recommended to prevent excessive pressure. This upgrade does not eliminate the need for TCM shift control.
