New Boats: If your inflatable is brand new, it must be inflated and left in the sun for several weeks to "off-gas" before applying decals. Applying too early may cause bubbling. 2. Textured Surfaces: These decals work best on smooth surfaces. If your boat is made of a "hybrid" fabric with a heavy canvas/waffle weave or mesh texture, decals may not seal properly. For these boats, we recommend mounting these decals to a hard plastic registration plate (sold separately). 3. Deflation: If you deflate and roll your boat tightly for storage after every use, we recommend applying these numbers to a removable plate rather than directly to the hull to prevent creasing.
