Lei Needle Kit XI includes 3 x 150 ft. waxed lei twine (enough to make 45 leis), 2 x 14 inch steel lei needle w/eyelet. All of our needles are a sturdy 1.25 millimeters thick unlike other thinner, cheaper types. Our eyelets are wide enough to accomodate all types of lei twine. Suggested use of our waxed lei twine is preferable because the wax seals the flower puncture holes and extends flower life. Also the twine will not stretch and cause gaps.
