The FYR Fire is a detailed crawling tire built for competition rock crawling without the deep pockets that bog down performance. It comes in a new 1.5 inch width on a standard 1.9 bead that fits popular crawler wheels.
The carcass has consistent wall thickness with a pillow-top feel against the insert for better compliance. Where it counts is the tread. The 4.25 OD tire uses directional tread blocks arranged to provide climbing grip from multiple angles. The shallow surface recesses give just enough flex to conform to terrain, while faint radial ribs in three key zones boost traction. Pie-shaped recessed spaces carry detail that extends all the way to the sidewall lugs.
The sidewall is loaded with texture. Tread-like patterns across the surface combine with small cavities and detail work on the lugs. Light background texture sits behind the main design. JConcepts branding, part number, and specs are embossed on the sidewall.
The FYR includes firm open cell foam inserts to support the ride. The sticky green compound JConcepts uses gives good flex and release characteristics. Comes in standard JConcepts packaging with holographic badge for verification.
