aFe Introduces the Takeda axle-back exhaust system for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic DX/EX/LX sedan with the L4-1.8 liter engine. In testing, this system will give you up to 9 horsepower and 10 pound x feet of torque as verified in-house dyno. This exhaust is constructed from 2.5 inch brushed finish steel for increased flow and lowered restrictions and uses mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel tubing that is TIG-welded for a rust free long-life. The system also uses a high-flow, polished 304 stainless steel muffler which improves performance across the power band while maintaining a great tone. To finish off this exhaust system, a massive 4 inch double wall, slash-cut, 304 stainless steel Takeda laser-etched tip provides an aggressive stylish look. This system uses all factory hanger locations for a hassle-free installation. No modifications necessary. All systems use factory mounting locations providing stability and hassle-free installation. A high quality OE-style flange is used to maintain a quality seal for the life of the exhaust system. A polished, 304 stainless steel, free-flowing muffler is used to absorb high pitch tones producing a powerful sound and unleashing all available horsepower and torque.
