Description

Core Functions of MV-3 Dash Air Brake Control Valve

1. Controls Tractor Parking Brake
Operates the tractor parking (spring) brake through the yellow dash knob. Pull to apply the parking brake and push to release, ensuring vehicle stability during parking and loading.

2. Controls Trailer Parking Brake
Manages the trailer parking brake via the red dash knob by controlling air supply to the trailer. Allows independent engagement of trailer brakes when parking or disconnecting.

3. Automatic Safety Protection Under Low Air Pressure
Automatically applies the tractor and trailer parking brakes when system air pressure drops below a safe level, preventing vehicle roll-away and enhancing safety compliance.

4. Centralized Air Supply & Distribution Control
Regulates and distributes compressed air from the main reservoirs to the tractor spring brake system and trailer supply line for reliable brake operation.
