Product Details:
Clip footprint approximately 47 x 26 x 25 mm (1.85 x 1.02 x 0.98 in) with a hook opening sized for the standard 6 mm visor rod.
Material: ABS / polymer body with internal locking insert.
Color: gray (matches factory light-gray and medium-gray headliner trims; may not match beige/ivory or charcoal interiors).

When to Replace:
Symptoms include the sun visor falling down on its own, the visor no longer staying in the up/stowed position, the hook feeling loose or wobbly when the visor is clipped in, or the original clip cracking or snapping off when the visor is moved. The internal locking tab is the most common failure point - aged plastic eventually loses tension and the visor will not stay retained.

Installation:
The clip mounts into a rectangular cutout in the headliner via a snap-in fit. Installation is a vertical insertion followed by a slight rotation that locks the clip body against the inner side of the headliner panel. Skipping the rotation step is the most common install error - the clip will sit in the hole but will pull free when the visor is hooked into it.
