You should soak Reed Spline for 10 minutes to straighten out the coil. These 6-foot coils are crafted from the inner core of rattan. Soak Reed Spline in water to make them flexible to secure Cane Webbing in various furniture projects, including chair seats, backs, cabinets, and dressers. Installation: Soak the Reed Spline in water for 5-10 minutes before installation for flexibility.
