  • 4. Ensure secure and good contact with the battery terminals. Poor contact will cause significant voltage drop after charging.
  • 5. If the 5V input voltage is high (e.g., 5.2V or even 5.5V), the charging current may drop below 1000mA. This is normal. Higher voltage causes the chip to heat up, automatically reducing the charging current to prevent chip burnout. The chip operating at around 60°C is normal due to the high charging current.
  • 6. Reverse polarity on the input does not affect the chip. However, reverse polarity on the output (battery side) will burn out the chip. Buyers should take note.
