Special Features

  • Designed specifically for installation in horizontal water or fluid pipelines. The internal swinging disc relies on gravity to assist in proper sealing, ensuring optimal performance when mounted horizontally.
  • The entire valve body and internal components are constructed from solid brass (an alloy of copper and zinc). This provides excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and longevity for water and compatible fluid applications.
  • Utilizes a swing or flapper design. A hinged disc inside the valve swings open in the direction of flow and swings closed by gravity and back-pressure to prevent reverse flow (backflow).
  • Features female (internal) NPT or BSP threads on both ends. This allows for direct connection to male-threaded pipes or fittings, creating a secure and streamlined installation without additional adapters.
  • A fundamental plumbing component used to protect pumps, water heaters, and other equipment from damage caused by backflow. It can be installed in systems that also use solenoid valves for automated control, providing mechanical backflow protection on the line.
