This kit is designed to detect Ferret T-Cell Surface Glycoprotein CD8 Alpha Chain. The assay plate is pre-coated with mouse anti-Ferret CD8 alpha monoclonal antibody. When the sample containing CD8 alpha is added, it binds to the antibodies on the wells. Then, a horseradish peroxidase conjugated mouse anti-Ferret CD8 alpha Antibody is added and binds to CD8 alpha in the sample. After washing, substrate solutions are added, and the color intensity is proportional to the amount of Ferret CD8 alpha present. The reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
