Features of boron carbide: it is extremely hard and wear-resistant, and does not react with acid and alkali, resistant to high temperature and high pressure, density ≥2.46g/cm3. Microhardness ≥3500kgf /mm2, bending strength ≥400Mpa, melting point is 2450°C.

Quartz sand 1000-1500 hours
Corundum 500-1000 hours
