The indexable end mill has a positive rake design with a 90° right - hand cut. The positive rake angle contributes to a smooth cutting action, reducing the cutting forces and heat generated during the milling process.
When a cutting edge on the insert becomes dull, there is no need to replace the entire insert. Simply rotate the insert to expose a fresh, sharp cutting edge.
