Precautions:

No artificial contact resistance is allowed at the connection points between the primary circuit cable (or copper busbar) and the shunt.

The secondary voltage sampling point must not be taken from non-sampling points.

This fixed-value shunt is of 0.5 class with a rated voltage drop of 275mV. It is used in DC circuits to expand the current measurement range of instruments when paired with a 75mA magnetoelectric millivoltmeter.

Heating Under Load:
After temperature rise stabilizes:

For rated currents up to 50A, temperature shall not exceed 80°C.

For rated currents above 50A, temperature shall not exceed 120°C.

Secondary Voltage Drop:
50mV, 60mV, 75mV, 100mV, 150mV, 200mV, 300mV, etc. Default is 75mV.
