This is a complete CD mechanism suitable for replacement in many for sanyo, Ph ilips and models. This is a for sanyo part, but this mechanism works with many other brands of CD players and HiFi as many manufacturers use the SF-P101N las er. Note, however, that there are two versions of the SF-P101N la ser. has 16 pins on the las er ribbon connector and the other has 15 pins. The 16-pin type is provided here as this is the most common type. See our list of other 15-pin versions. The 16-pin and 15-pin versions are not interchangeable.
The SF-P101N las er suitable for this mechanism is found in many different brands of CD players and hi-fis. The las er model number is printed on the las er housing. So if your faulty la ser has SF-P101N printed on it, then this is the mechanism for you. Just count the pins on the edge connector to confirm there are 16 of them.
If your CD player or HiFi's SF-P101N las er is defective, then you can replace the entire mechanism, which will provide a very effective repair as all for moving parts in the CD reading mechanism are replaced.
