Special Features

  • Tuning Mechanism: The tuning mechanism allows for tension adjustment through rotation: the spoke frame connects to a threaded central bolt/ring. Rotating the frame moves it along the thread, simultaneously altering the drumhead tension—clockwise rotation increases tension and pitch, while counterclockwise rotation decreases tension and pitch. Accompanied by a locking rod, this feature enables quick pitch stabilization, preventing detuning during performance.
  • Core Structure: Featuring a no-chamber design combined with threaded tuning, the instrument is composed of a single-sided skin, pressure ring, aluminum spoke frame, threaded center column, and base/rail. The absence of a drum cavity distinguishes it from traditional drums, directly influencing the unique tonal qualities of “no-chamber dyeing.”
  • Size and Pitch Range: Available in diameters of 6/8/10 inches, smaller diameters produce higher fundamental tones with a wider tension range, making them more suitable for rapid sliding notes. In contrast, larger sizes offer a fuller tone.
  • Sturdy and Portable Structure: Constructed from a zinc alloy material, the rim framework, hoop, and tension rods ensure durability while remaining lightweight. Multiple drums can be mounted on a single guide rail bracket, optimizing space and simplifying setup. This design is ideal for drum expansions, percussion ensembles, orchestras, and marching bands.
  • Installation and Layout: Featuring a modular rail system, multiple drums can be installed using shared rails and double support brackets, allowing for adjustable spacing and angles.
