Velvac part number 600007 is a replacement brass non-locking fuel cap. This fuel cap is vented, has a nominal size of 2 inches, and female threads with a thread pitch of 11-1/2 TPI. This fuel cap fits fuel filler necks with male threads that have a measurement of 2-5/16 inches across the threads. The fuel cap itself has female threads that measure 2-1/4 inches across the threads. The safety chain and crossbar are included with the fuel cap. The fuel cap has fusible meltouts for thermal relief. Vented brass fuel caps are designed for use on vehicles with non-vented fuel systems built prior to October 1985. Brass fuel caps are for gasoline, diesel, and oil applications.
