The plastic bushing is notorious for wearing down and/or cracking and breaking, allowing for excessive play between the pushrod and even extreme cases the factory clutch rod end breaks completely leaving you stranded on the side of the road.
This mod replaces the factory plastic pushrod eye with a 6061 billet aluminum piece and high strength set screw, creating a tight connection that will never wear out.
