【11-Gauge Aluminum Construction】 Laser-cut from 11ga aluminum and precision-formed to fit over the factory plastic motor guard. Acts as an additional protective layer against rock strikes and trail impacts during off-road riding.
【Added Motor Protection】 Provides enhanced protection for the motor area by absorbing and dispersing impacts. The design allows slight movement under load, helping reduce stress from repeated trail hits.
【Battery Compatibility Notes】 Fits seamlessly with the 540Wh battery. Also compatible with the 720Wh battery with minor modification to the lower battery cowl for clearance, if required.
【Installation】Installs directly over the existing plastic guard using the longer mounting screws provided. I recommend using a small dab of blue threadlocker on the screws and tighten them to snug but not overly tight. The guard will need to 'breathe' some as it takes the hits.
【Important Notes】While this guard is sturdy, it is not completely immune to deformation from hard rock strikes. With enough deformation the plastic guard underneath may also become damaged. In the event this occurs, simply remove and re-shape the aluminum guard with tools as needed, and smooth any gouges or burrs with a hand grinder/file - then repair or replace the plastic guard
