  • Installation is simple: remove the drive sprocket case cover and in the center of the drive sprocket will be the bucking bar. Remove that stock bucking bar, install this new bucking bar, close the case, and you're good to go
  • Note: Be sure the clutch actuator bearing is within the motor before installing, as the motor will not engage or disengage without both parts

Part #26 on the Clutch Diagram
The bucking bar works in-tandem with the clutch actuator bearing to transfer the signal from the clutch lever to the clutch itself. Every 2-stroke bicycle engine kit has 1 bucking bar. This part does succumb to natural wear and will eventually need to be replaced. It is installed inside the 10 tooth drive sprocket which can be found behind the drive sprocket case cover.
