The RS232 Cable is used to connect your PC or computer to computerized telescopes via a port in the hand control. The large adapter attaches to the serial port of your computer.
If your computer not have serial port, you will need Serial-to-USB cable, so that you can connect the RS232 Cable via USB port instead. The other end of the cable terminates in a phone, and simply snap into the port for this purpose.
Attaches to the computer's serial port and the telescope hand control via a phone.
The RS232 Cable is also necessary for flash upgrades to hand control software.
