Special Features

  • 45° inclined dual view head that rotates 360°, allowing for trouble-free observation for two people or one person with a digital camera. A diopter adjustment on one ocular tube compensates for eye-strength difference for relaxed viewing
  • Reversed quadruple nosepiece (ball bearing type) to facilitate easy slide changes. Four DIN achromatic objectives are parfocaled and parcentered, to ensure the image stays centered and focused during every magnification change
  • Double layer, built-in mechanical stage is low-profile and ball-bearing, with a mounted specimen holder, ensuring easy mobility and precise control of specimen under observation
  • 1W-LED illumination with intensity control, guarantees a bright, clear and crisp, cool-to-touch white light. LED bulb has a lifespan of up to 5000 hours
  • Rack and pinion adjustable 1.25 N.A. Abbe Condenser, and turn-wheel opening iris diaphragm with plastic shield protector, for optimal resolution and image contrasting

Description

This Parco Scientific PBS-503L-E2 compound microscope has a 45° inclined dual viewing head that reduces neck and eye strain. The 40xR and 100xR objectives are retractable and spring-loaded to prevent damage to slides and objectives when focusing. For added safety, it is equipped with a rack-stop which helps to prevent damage to slides and objective lenses, while the slip-clutch system protects gears from damage. Brightfield LED illumination illuminates the specimen from below, making the specimen appear bright, but much darker than the bright background. It comes with a pair of 20X WF eyepiece
