HD cable configurations
The High Density (HD) system referenced as HD (SFF-8643) in the S*A*S 2.1 standard, meets the6Gb/sSAS specification. These new HD Connectors will be used on the S*A*S 3.0 specification when it is released. Cable material may change but the connectors will be the next generation of S*A*S to run at12Gb/s.
