Kurapika, one of the primary protagonists in Hunter x Hunter, is the last survivor of the Kurta Clan. He became a hunter in order to exact revenge on the Spider (also known as the Phantom Troupe) and retrieve his clans' Scarlet Eyes. In order to get revenge, he is willing to become a monster to his enemies and puts a wall between him and his friends, such as Gon, Killua, and Leorio.
