This is for 1.75mm filament PFA(Polyfluoroalkoxy) Tube
In general, the properties of PFA are very similar to PTFE. Their biggest difference is that PFA can be melt processed, while PTFE cannot. This means that PFA can be processed by traditional injection molding and screw extrusion technology.
PTFE solid is hydrophobic, so it is not easy to be affected by moisture, and the friction coefficient is very low; PFA is more easily affected by the dry wet environment, but the performance of PFA is better than PTFE in salt spray corrosion resistance.
PFA has better elasticity than PTFE, especially in pipeline applications, but its repeated folding resistance and self-lubricating ability are slightly lower than PTFE.
PFA is usually used in laboratory equipment, especially as a pipeline for important reaction or highly corrosive chemical reaction, because PFA has super chemical corrosion resistance, optical transparency and good flexibility, and can well avoid chemical pollution caused by metal ions.
