The TIPM fuel pump relay bypass cable allow you to provide power to the fuel pump from an another power source (such as the F91 run/start fuse slot). When it's installed, the vehicle can start even when a defective fuel pump relay is present.The TIPM Bypass cable also permits the fuel pump to be powered on when the vehicle is off, this allows you to narrow down the problem to the TIPM by eliminating the fuel pump as the problem. There is a possibility that the remote - start function may fail to operate in some vehicles. This is because the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) or PDC (Power Distribution Center) might disable the power adapter (F91), which is used to supply power to the fuel pump relay (F70) in bypass mode. We are aware that this issue occurs in older TIPM - 7 style fuse boxes when an older connection method is employed.

In bypass mode, the effect on safety mechanisms that cut off power to a faulty fuel pump relay during a crash remains unknown. Nevertheless, all faulty fuel pump relays currently have the potential to get stuck in the “on” position. As a result, this limitation may not be a significant concern in practical situations.

Although it is a rare occurrence, in extremely cold weather or when the battery voltage is low, some TIPM/PDCs may disable power to the F91 circuit utilized by the bypass cable.

If an external relay has been installed in your vehicle, this cable will not work as intended. This is because the dealer has cut wires under your TIPM/PDC. If your vehicle fails to start and the starter does not even try to turn the flywheel, even with a fully - charged battery, there are likely other problems that our cable cannot address.
