These Twist-to-Lock cables can be inserted into the bottom channel of your track/rail at any point. The added benefit of using the Twist-to-Lock head is twofold:

1. Because of the simple twisting motion to install into the rails, there is no need to use a ladder as long as the cable can reach the track from a standing position. Most other cables require you to insert at the track/rail level, which requires a ladder for tall ceilings.

2. As opposed to other cords with which the head remains visible, the Twist-to-Lock head hides completely inside the track, lending a very clean finished look. This is why this cable is loved by architects and interior designers. The Minitrack, Clicktrack, Combitrack and Ceilingtrack picture rails all have this feature.

This 2mm crystal clear see-through perlon cord is sleek and extremely durable, choose from lengths of 39 3/8"- 16' 3/8". Balance larger frames or distribute the weight of heavier frames by using two cables. Our Cam Hook will hold 45 lbs on this cable.

To use, insert the metal Twist-to-Lock head into the track, twist right and pull down to lock in. To unlock the cable, simply lift the cable up and twist left, then remove. All 3 steps are done in one smooth motion: Insert-twist-pull.

The standard 2mm thickness means it can be used with most picture hanging hooks on the market (sold separately).
