Application--- This flywheel locking tool is designed for 6.6L Duramax engines with Allison automatic transmissions. Suitable for Duramax 2500/3500/4500/5500 trucks modles. Indispensable tool kit for 6.6L Duramax water pump replacement. The flywheel is locked on the transmission to prevent the flywheel from turning effectively.
Function---This 22100 Flywheel Holder & Socket is locking the flywheel at the transmission instead of having to remove the starter for water pump replacement. Saving you time and making the operation easier and quicker.
On 2500 & 3500 Pickup ---This flywheel holder is comaptible with Duramax 2500 / 3500 pickup. Use toothed pieces only remove metal spring-loaded inspection plate on the bottom of the transmission, then holding tool should be slided into opening toward engine with the top of the tool engaging the teeth of the flywheel.
On 4500 & 5500 Trucks ---This flywheel holder is comaptible with Duramax 4500 / 5500 trucks. Use toothed pieces with Screws remove the rubber inspection cap on the bottom of the transmission. Insert the flywheel holding tool at the front of the opening to engage the flywheel and hand-tighten bolt to hold tool in place.
36mm 12-Point Socket--- The for 6.6L duramax flywheel locking tool comes with 36mm 12-point socket, the 36mm socket is used with 3/4" square drive to remove harmonic balancer bolt and re-torque on installation. 36mm 12 point socket can also be used on axle to remove the axle nut.

Using Instruction:
Duramax 2500 & 3500 Flywheel Holder(Toothed pieces only)
Work with Duramax 2500 / 3500 pickups .
