3-digit 6-pin start switch 16A/250V 20A/125V AC
Widely applicable: Suitable for FIRMAN W03083 W03082 3300/3000 watt inverter generators and General Electric GP8000E GP7500E GP6500E gas generators
For Champion 100296 100219 100161 100297 100110 Generator
For Westinghouse 6000W Electric Start Generator WGen6000
For Generac GP8000E GP7500E GP6500E Electric Gas Generator
The switch symbols are ○ (O gear, Off/Off), Ⅰ (Middle gear), Ⅱ (Three horizontal lines, On/Run gear), combined with the "Automatic Reset" feature:
O gear (hold position): The switch defaults to a stationary position, disconnecting the main circuit.
I gear (automatic reset position): After being turned, it automatically bounces back to O gear, which is a momentary trigger position (such as the "start" signal).
Second gear (hold position): After being turned, it remains in this gear for continuous operation (if the generator is working normally).
Proficient in referring to the on-off rules of each gear:
O gear (Off):
Group 1: Connect COM1 (pin 1) to NC1 (pin 2), disconnect NO1 (pin 3);
Group 2: Connect COM2 (pin 4) to NC2 (pin 5), disconnect NO2 (pin 6);
→ Function: Disconnect the main circuit and connect to the "shutdown monitoring" or "standby circuit".
Level I (automatic reset, momentary action):
When shifted to gear I, the spring force causes the switch to automatically bounce back to gear O, instantly connecting:
Group 1: Connect COM1 (pin 1) to NO1 (pin 3);
Group 2: COM2 (foot 4) and NO2 (foot 6);
→ Function: Transient trigger signal (such as the "start" command of the generator, which automatically shuts down when released, and needs to be coordinated with a self-locking circuit to maintain operation).
Level II (hold, continuous operation):
When shifted to gear II, the switch remains in that position and continues to turn on:
Group 1: Connect COM1 (pin 1) to NO1 (pin 3);
Group 2: COM2 (foot 4) and NO2 (foot 6);
→ Function: The main circuit provides continuous power supply (such as the "normal operation" gear of the generator).
