Usage Steps
1. Position the Tool:
Start by parking the vehicle on a level surface and the vehicle is safe. Confirm that the strut rod is fully exposed and locate the suitable center point on the strut rod. Align the strut spreader tool with this point and insert it securely between the strut rod and the suspension system
2. Expand the Gap:
Attach a 10 mm drive wrench to the adjustment screw on the strut spreader tool. Rotate the wrench to gradually expand the tool, widening the gap between the strut and the suspension system. Confirm smooth operation to avoid applying excessive pressure on the components
3. Remove the Tool:
Once the gap is sufficiently wide, stop rotating the wrench. Use an Allen key to rotate in the opposite direction to loosen the pinch bolt, guaranteeing the strut spreader tool can be removed from the gap. Carefully remove the tool and inspect the strut and suspension system to confirm the separation process was completed smoothly
