It can also reduce the entry of engine oil into the engine, avoid the formation of oil sludge inside the engine, and improve the combustion efficiency of the engine.
There are 6 different variations of this filter from 2011-2025, and this one will work to replace any of them.This will physically look different than your original filter, but fit the same.If you are still using a Ford CCV filter that can plug, it should be changed every 50,000-60,000 miles.
How do you know if your CCV filter was ever changed? Simple, Ford mounts a sticker of the injector IQA (programming codes) on the CCV filter when the engines are originally manufactured. If there is a sticker with programming codes, it's most likely never been changed. (Note: 2017-2019 DRW models have a serviceable internal filter that can be changed)
