RAVENOL Motogear SAE 10W-40 GL-4 is excellent for year round use in all modern 2 and 4-stroke motorcycles that require gear oil in a separate wet clutch, chain case, transmission system (separate from engine oil system). RAVENOL Motogear SAE 10W-40 can also be used when an SAE 80W gear oil is specified. It should be noted that the engine oil viscosity grade of RAVENOL Motogear SAE 10W-40 is equivalent to the gear oil viscosity grade of SAE 80W. Do not use GL-5 gear oils in wet clutch chain case transmission systems.
